“Whether you succeed or not is irrelevant, there is no such thing. Making your unknown known is the important thing–and keeping the unknown always beyond you.”
- Georgia O’Keeffe
About
I started my life on Jeraby Farm in Edinburgh, Indiana. A farm founded by my grandfather Loren Glass with a desire to build a home where beautiful animals would live and "Convivis Semper Parati" - translation: friends are always welcome.
I never met my grandfather, but I'm told he had a great sense of wonder and possibility. My dad shared that. So did my mom. As do I. And the cycle continues.
Since then, I've moved 24 times, including three times across the country and three times across the sea. Through my travels, I've happily gained a husband, two kids, many furry friends, and a lot of used luggage. And now we're all back home again… in Seattle.
Above is a picture of me in college, wishing I could major in art, but that wasn't "responsible." I channeled my creativity into my career in other ways, and while I don't regret my path, I know I'll regret not dedicating the time now.
